On Sunday, May 15, we celebrated Cody's confirmation. With our church, First Covenant, the confirmation program is two years of studying. At the end of their second year, the confirmands, in addition to reciting parts of the catechism from memory, get to read their two-page paper in front of the entire congregation. On Confirmation Sunday, it's a packed house! Cody's paper was about family--his immediate family, his extended family and his church family. It was an excellent paper that was heartfelt. All of his family is very proud of him!
